We are still working on the print function directly in Project Studio. At the moment, you can export tasks in the project into an Excel file and print the file.
Can I attach attachment from my computer instead from dropbox or onedrive. if yes How?

At the moment you can upload local files to OneDrive or Dropbox directly in Project Studio.
When I have tried to add a second member to my project, I have received an error message saying that the project already has two members and the new member therefore can only have read only rights. However, this happens when the project only has one existing member. Please advise.

First of all- I love this application, and will be using it for project management until the foreseeable future.
Since printing is not currently available (I hope it will be soon), you mentioned exporting tasks. How do I export these? I have not been able to find a way to do it.
In the project details page, you will be able to find Export button in the top right corner.
Where are the projects stored physically on my computer? I’d like to include it in backups.
And what about the idea to choose my own server for synchronization?

The project data is cached in local store of the Windows app in %localappdata%\Packages. However, we do not suggest to manually backup/restore the data because you might not set up all the file permissions correctly.
Due to the complexity of the online server, it is not possible to choose your own server for synchronization.
Hi Jose, to export your tasks to Excel, please follow these steps
1. Open your project, go to the Details tab
2. On the top right corner, click the … button
3. Click Export to Excel
Is there any way I can copy and paste my tasks? They will be the same for every project and I’d like to create some sort of “default” project with reoccurring tasks so I don’t have to over the same thing over and over.

Currently, if you click on the More (…) button in the top right of task details page, we have already implemented Clone function. Would that work for your scenario?
In future release, we will implement Project Template function. This will allow you to define a set of tasks that will be applied to new projects created from the template. Stay tuned with us!
This would be an extremely useful function. As would the feature to associate tasks to Projects – viz. can associate tasks to groups, but cant associate tasks (even cloned tasks) to a project – extremely annoying we have to retype every time we create a project – projects have sets of similar tasks (PM101 in PMBOK and or AgilePM).

Hi Gourdon, for the time being, you can export the project into Excel file and can use the file as a template by importing to new project.

I have a simple question. Is there any way to change the color of my circle that has my initials in it? We are sorting by assignee and two of us have the same color. I was wanting to change mine and wasn’t sure if that was an option vs. trying to upload a picture.

This would be a cery valuable feature and start to make it real PM tool rather than a individual task management tool.

In the ‘All Tasks’ view, it would be very beneficial to be able to see the whole project name associated with each task. Right now all I can see is the first two characters. It would also be beneficial to be able to see the task end date, not just the start date. Is there a way to adjust these things that I’m not aware of?

The app is absolutely fantastic. But I do however have some pointers that maybe can be added later on, or maybe you are still working on them. I can’t seem to find a app on my phone to experience a intregrated project management. But this isn’t a huge issue. I would however find the app more awesome if it could be synchronized and integrated with google agenda. This would make my life a whole lot better.

I work with Premium version; somehow I cannot manage to complete tasks by checking the little box on the left of the task. This is annoying, because even after I close a project after completion, all the underlying task remain in te tasklist. Only possibility apparently is to delete the tasks, but that means that I lose my work history. How can I mark tasks as completed?

Last week when I clicked the box, it all went well. But now, when I click, nothing happens, and tasks stays alive so to speak. Perhaps I am doing something wrong… I also notice thet the first letter of the name of the stage of the project may appear in this same box. Is there a way to delete that?
I must say, when I click the box, the stages of the project appear, but I am not able to complete the task.
Hi Tom, if your project has custom stages, you will have to click on the box, then click Done.
I would be very happy with a copy function. We have projects with same base of to do’s and don’t like it that we have to put it in by hand all the same task data again.

Hi Graham, at the moment Project Studio does not allow moving task between projects. You can try to use export to/import from Excel functions to move large number of tasks between projects.
Project Studio seems to have the potential of a useful PM tool. But today, no way. A Gant chart scheduling tool without the ability to link tasks is really useless. Plus the other features your customers have asked for that are not available yet. I don’t understand why developers feel they need to push their partially developed products into the marketplace. As a customer it’s frustrating and doesn’t get my vote of confidence. I’ll check back periodically to see if this thing has grown up and is wearing big boy pants yet. In the mean time I am looking for solutions ready for me to use.

A Housekeeping problem: I entered a lot of information without assigning it to a project (I forgot to; an easy thing to do) . Is there anyway to transfer “all tasks” into a project without starting from scratch? A tedious proposition!

Where is a tutorial? So far the app does not seem very intuitive. I need to learn more on how it works. Example: I created a project in the project list on the far left side of the program. When I click on it it shows 1 task that I have created within that project. I have created 2 tasks and the seoond task is no where to be found. I would think you would create a task and put under that umbrella additional sub tasks, but so far I cannot find the second task.

I am having trouble syncing tasks – says sync fail. Any suggestions? FYI – my partner and I have been using project studio for about 6 months. so far, syncing has been the only issue.
The app keeps creating new tab link whenever I switch to a new project, no matter It already has or not!.
I have a suggestion that I think the top sidebar should be putting the things belongs to the current choosing project, not for the other things.

I have tried loading onto my desktop – Win10 – and I have the Project Studio Icon on my Task Bar but whenever I try to open the App I get the opening screen with the “preparing awesome” message but that is as far as it gets?

How do I get my tasks commencing with the first task starting at the top. Currently when I enter the tasks the more recent one entered is at the top which in my case should be at the bottom as this would be my last task.

We are sorry that you cannot move tasks among projects at the moment. You will have to add the task into the project at the creation time.

Question: If I create a Task and forget to choose a Project or Group before pressing Save – it automatically goes to a No Project project. BUT – I don’t think I’m able to fix that problem: I go to the Task and there’s no way to Edit it and add /choose a Project or Group.

I have two concerns:
a. It would be perfect if the e-mail feature were available.
b. it would be better if the “task stages” (to do, pending, ect.) could be displayed in different colors.

How can I get a member to be able to view the projects I have created? I sent them a invitation however it is not syncing with my project
Sent an email with a few question to support but may as well try the same here since we are testing and plan to expand if it make sense and have several people use for various projects
1) Sent an invite but it was not delivered? I thought that two people could be part of FREE
2) Can we combine two Projects or copy tasks from one to another?
3) How exactly is this COUPON system working? Does 3 coupons means that 3 people can have your system on their devices or allow for the setup to be on a maximum or 3 devices?
4) Can we create a template that would include tasks and that can be used for same processes
Is there a way to organize Projects into “higher leve” folders or category. For instance an OPS Category that would contain all the Operations related Project and a DEV category that would regroup all the Development related projects?

While I added a new member to a project, app shows me the user is in pending status but there is no email sent to member.
Can task be linked, like start dates and end dates, so when one task changes the linked task changes as well?
