We get your project and task information through the app if you have signed in to your account and enabled Sync.
When you log in to external services, including OneDrive/Dropbox, and link to your account, we do not store your service password. Instead, we store access tokens that may expired after a certain amount of time defined by the service. We also obtain your service account email / username for display purposes. If you are using vSoft Studio Account, the information is stored in your account to allow quick access across devices. Otherwise, it is store locally on your computer.
When you add a contact to a task, we get that contact details, including but not limited to name, email address and phone number.
When you make purchase, your purchase will go through a third-party service depending on the app you are using. Particularly, purchases through Windows app go through Microsoft Payment service. We do not interpret or store any of your information during the purchase. We only receive the notification from the third-party service about your purchase and update our records accordingly.
We collect telemetry information on how you use the app as well as problems happened to the app to make it better. We do not automatically collect sensitive information such as your location, IP address, credit card information. The telemetry information is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you or your profile, device.
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
We transfer your information through a secure (SSL) channel and store in secured Microsoft Azure databases.
Your profile information is stored in vSoft Studio Account. A cached version of your profile information, including name, email address and avatar, excluding password, is also stored locally on your devices once you have signed in.
Your password is encrypted (hashed) before saving into our online database. We cannot see your password in clear text and cannot decrypt your password.
When you have not signed in or not enabled Sync, your project and task information is stored locally on your device. When you have signed in and enabled Sync, your project and task information is synchronized and stored in our encrypted databases. Those information is also stored locally on your devices and invited team members’ devices to support offline modification.
Telemetry information is stored in HockeyApp.
We do not share, sell, trade or otherwise transfer your information to any third-parties or other Project Studio users.
